Federal Investment in Research Infrastructure: Generating $1.5 Billion Value Annually.
AURIN is set to lead major new national research initiatives on urban climate risk and coastal monitoring, boosting Australia’s capacity for climate resilience, evidence-based planning and long-term decision-making.
The new AURIN and Nearmap Data partnership is giving researchers access to high-resolution aerial imagery and 3D data, helping them better understand Australia’s cities, infrastructure and climate risks.
AURIN welcomes Athena Thompson and Dr Nicolò Dalmasso to the team. Their experience in business, research and astrophysics will strengthen data access, collaboration and impact for researchers across Australia.
