From July to September 2023 AURIN was cited in a variety of material, including several conference papers and a peer-reviewed piece of research.

The peer-reviewed paper, A review on worldwide urban observatory systems’ data analytics themes: Lessons learned for Malaysia Urban Observatory (MUO)’, in Journal of Urban Management Vol. 12 Issue 3, was written by Noradila Rusli of the Centre for Innovative Planning and Development, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Gabriel Hoh Teck Ling of the Urban and Regional Planning Programme, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, and Muhammad Hakimi Mohd Hussain, Nur Safuraa Mohamed Salib, Siti Zalina Abu Bakar and Muhammad Harith Othman of the Malaysia Urban Observatory Unit in the Malaysian Ministry of Housing and Local Governance.

It’s exciting to see AURIN cited as the leading urban observatory in Australia, and to see its data analytic themes informing the development of the Malaysia Urban Observatory. We would like to congratulate the researchers, and look forward to seeing outcomes for the MUO.

If you’re aware of any research citing AURIN not noted here, please get in touch – we’d love to hear about it! We’d also love to hear from you if you’ve been using AURIN data for any kind of other project.
