LEARN TO access

AURIN Data Provider (ADP) Access Dashboard

The AURIN Data Provider (ADP) Access Dashboard is the place to create an ADP account, generate credentials to gain access to the Data Provider, and to view and accept data licensing agreements to unlock access to AURIN data through your Data Provider account.

Click Login button to go into AAF Central page. The Australian Access Federation (AAF) is Australia’s identity federation. If you are from an AAF listed organisation (users with an edu.au email address) you can already gain access to the ADP Access Dashboard through navigating to your institution and entering your institution login details to gain access to the Dashboard.

If you are not from an AAF listed organisation (users with a non .edu.au email address) you will first need to apply for an AAF Virtual Home Account by clicking here. Once your AAF Virtual Home account is approved, you will then login using your AAF Virtual Home account through the first option in the list AAF Virtual Home, and generate access credentials.

Now you are in the ADP Access Dashboard Dashboard. In the Menu, there are three categories. You can find personal information in Account, Username and Password in Data Provider, Terms of Use and Licence agreements in Agreements.

Account

Once you agree to the Terms of Use, the ADP Access Dashboard automatically moves to the Account section. If you are from the academic sector and plan to use the AURIN Data Provider (ADP) for academic or research purposes, please tick the box and submit to gain access to additional licence agreements and datasets which are limited to the academic sector.

Data Provider

Here you can generate a Username and Password to get access to the Data Provider. These are the credentials that should be used for accessing and downloading datasets via the AURIN Data Provider. Click Generate New Credential.

Please click show if you need to see the password.

Agreements

In this tab, all licence agreements for data you are eligible to access will appear in the Available Agreements section. Upon accepting the AURIN Services Terms of Use (ToU) at first login, the relevant agreement automatically gets added to the Accepted Agreements section provisioning access to all data with standard open licences in the AURIN Catalogue to your account.

By opening the available agreements, viewing each page of the agreement and clicking accept, that agreement will move to the Accepted Agreements section and the associated data will become available in your Data Provider Account.

Please read it carefully and follow all the rules and instructions. Please note it may take a few minutes for the data to become accessible after you accept the agreements for the first time.
